Solar Winds (Poem)

Published on

Bleeding from the sky,

Solar winds gushed through cloud-veins –

Brusque in turbulence

Yet whispering tenderly,

Of family,

Of familiar things,

Of divergent existences,

Bowing to the same gravity.

  3. Well done—I really like the lyricism of the line “of divergent existences”—the rhythm and the internal rhyme of the “en” sounds. Also the word “bowing” is cleverly used as both an act of respect and the physical rainbow formed when clouds and sunlight interact. Nice!
