Flirting in Space

I like donkeys. I’ve always found such peace in observing them. They have beautiful kind eyes that hold this slightly stupid expression. (By the way, the etymology of the word “nice” is “idiot”, quite interesting isn’t it?)

They are practical and impractical at the same time. They are used to transport goods and yet are considered inferior to the horse. They are slower. But I think it makes them so much more charming.

I recently read in a magazine that donkeys were associated with demons in different mythologies. There’s never a clear explanation to why.

I like the nuances of the donkey. It keeps you guessing. Goofy but mild. Tempered but calm. Useful but not enough.
